An exciting opportunity for product development executive to join our marketing team. You'll be involved in the development and governance of AXA – Global Healthcare’s cross-border health insurance product portfolio, ensuring local market expectations and regulations are understood and new and existing products remain competitive.

Key Responsibilities

New product development

Support the development and delivery of new product ideas through gathering and presenting insight to help assess the feasibility of, and shape proposals, for new market opportunities and introduction of local market regulation changes (Gulf region, Asia, Europe, UK, KSA).

Support the development and delivery of product training both internally and externally as required. Work with Marketing and Communications to produce appropriate and accurate communications for new product launches internal and external, using appropriate communication channels.

Product Management and governance

Support the facilitation of the AXA - Global Healthcare Product Strategy Sub-group.

Support the bi-annual Product Review programme for multi-insurer international health insurance products, supporting the implementation of Product Review changes on all AXA insurer underwritten products

Support the delivery of accurate analysis of product and proposition performance, highlighting key risks and issues and insights and making constructive recommendations for future product changes

Deliver accurate competitor product analysis highlighting key differences between competitor offerings and AXA – Global Healthcare’s product suite

Full adherence to AXA product governance processes including the completion of required documentation in a timely manner to ensure project timelines are met

Evidence of understanding of the international health insurance market and local market regulations

Effective and timely communications, building necessary rapport with other key stakeholders, with clear understanding of business issues

To build relationships with internal colleagues across a wide range of functions to support the effective delivery of projects and product strategy

Adheres to relevant AXA - Global Healthcare governance processes

Manages multiples tasks across multiple departments

Contribute to the timely completion of Commercial Reviews for new products, and Product Suitability Reviews on legacy products according to the product governance structure.

Make recommendations on any product changes or rationale required based on analysis of management information, market trends and competitor analysis and customer feedback

Support the management of product literature, owning stock management and the creation and review of customer communication and fulfilment matrices.

Proposition development

Support the assessment of new opportunities to enhance our global healthcare proposition

Support the implementation of any new propositions including the approvals process and the assessment of performance  

Relationship Management

Actively manage relationships with stakeholders across the business as well as stakeholders from insurers supported by AXA – Global Healthcare’s multi insurer model

* Financial Services and/or insurance industry experience and market knowledge
* Degree / marketing qualifications
