Product Manager (Tertiary, Portfolio and Export)

You will join them as a Product Manager reporting to the Marketing Manager (Tertiary, Portfolio & Export) on a day-to-day basis, the Product Manager will be responsible for supporting comprehensive plans surrounding our clients tertiary business*, delivering against stretching growth targets and increasing business demands.

Product Manager (Tertiary, Portfolio and Export) Responsibilities:

- Support upstream project development, including but not limited to concept, strategy, design, approvals, investment appraisals.
- Lead product development, including but not limited to CP, launch forms, pack tests, transit trials, artworking, printing and logistics for all products including strategic and tactical NPD to drive growth.
- Responsible for post-launch tracking of tertiary specific product activations.
- Product expert for the team, key influencer and lead contact concerning process optimisation and ways of working, including new starter briefings.
- Support Intercompany department with the implementation of intercompany tertiary related requests.

Product Manager (Tertiary, Portfolio and Export) Requirements:

- Minimum of three years marketing experience within FMCG environment is essential.
- Good commercial and brand management acumen.
- Strong product development and innovation experience.
- A passion for consumers and marketing.
- Strong project management from concept to launch with planning and delivery skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage a range of products.
- Flexibility to travel as required.

Our client, the world’s biggest manufacturer of fruit gums and liquorice products entered the UK market in 1972, when it acquired a majority stake in the English firm Dunhills (Pontefract).

Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire
