We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping build the next generation of products on WhatsApp for both people and businesses. If you are a leader who has demonstrated experience in product strategy, product commercialization, and managing integrated marketing campaigns for global products/brands, then we would be excited to hear from you. For this role, you must have a strong bias for action, have experience managing teams, have a track record of strong cross-functional leadership, and exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be asked to build a team of product marketers over time and earn a seat the WhatsApp London leadership table.

This is a full-time position based with the WhatsApp team in London, England and will report to WhatsApp’s Head of Marketing in Menlo Park, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Develop, support and build a world-class product marketing team

*

Be a champion for consumers and businesses and generate quantitative and qualitative insights (industry research, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis, structured feedback, etc.) to influence product strategy, product positioning, and product launch strategy

*

Develop and implement integrated global marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive consumer awareness and adoption and brand activation

*

Work effectively with and consistently influence company leadership and cross-functional teams, including several teams in Menlo Park, California (headquarters)

*

Successfully manage a budget to drive impact and ROI through marketing programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

*

10+ years of experience in strategy, product development, and/or various marketing disciplines (product, growth, or brand marketing). A combination of these roles at high growth consumer technology companies is preferred.

*

Demonstrated experience in build global brands and driving marketing ROI across brand and growth objectives. Experience working with local and international media and creative agencies preferred.

*

Demonstrated impact in driving strategic analysis to influence product and business decisions

*

Demonstrated experience in building and scaling teams, influencing cross-functional teams, and being part of a leadership team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

*

MBA or other advanced degree

*

Desire to work with or experience with global mobile technology products and brands in emerging markets
