Program Manager, Platform Partnerships. Facebook is seeking an experienced Program Manager who is passionate about the way Facebook can work with startups and developers to drive real-world outcomes. The Program Management role in MEA will focus on bringing developers together to develop ideas and build the future, as well as building startup programs to help startups build and grow their businesses. Sitting on the platform partnerships team, this person will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with key business stakeholders and will work with our world-class Facebook Platform product and engineering teams to ship the best and most innovative products. The person will also work cross-functionally with the policy, legal, marketing, PR and operations to optimize new capabilities, improve user experience, and ensure our startups and developers are successful. The right person is a self-starter with experience working with communities and/or complex programs. Candidates must be able to think big and build programs at scale, while breaking the strategy into small pieces and executing the day-to-day operations.You will be responsible for understanding developer needs, aggregating feedback, identifying opportunities, and driving measurable results. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, relationship-focused approach, exceptional execution skills and strong communication skills. Responsibilities * Plan the strategy of the developer ecosystem in MEA and break it to operational pieces you can execute on * Help drive product strategy through aggregated feedback from startups and developers. * Set, track, analyze and communicate key program performance metrics and developers ecosystem trends. * Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues. * Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch programs and execute them.
This is a full-time position based in Dubai or Johannesburg Minimum Qualifications * BA or BS Degree * 6+ years of relevant work experience with programs, communities, product, marketing or other relevant field * Proven track record of initiating and successfully executing complex programs / projects * Ability to launch fast, learn quickly, iterate and improve, together with the ability to scale the efforts and package them into program documentations. * Ability to define, develop and lead complex projects in a fast-paced, changing environment * Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and execute multiple time-sensitive projects * Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, both internally and externally * Willingness and ability to travel Preferred Qualifications * Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem in MEA * Collaboration and relationship-building skills * Understanding of Facebook Platforms and their touch points with developers * Passion for innovative social products and their potential for transforming businesses and industries * Experience working with startups and / or developers * Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment * Competitive Salary including the following benefits : * Medical Benefits * Dental Benefits * Vision Benefits * Pension Benefits * Life Assurance * Childcare Benefits * Gym Benefits * Transport benefits * Laundry Benefit * Posted: 19/02/18 * Closing date: 19/03/18
