Job Description
Position: Project Manager

Oystercatchers is an industry-leading Management Consultancy owned by Centaur Media that provides a wide range of practical consultancy services to help clients deliver their modern marketing objectives. We make a significant impact to the way marketing operates for the likes of:

British Airways, EY, F1, Samsung, Sainsbury’s, McDonald’s, Virgin, and many other global brands.

This position sits within the Oystercatchers team, running pitch processes and consultancy projects.

What we are looking for

We are a young, vibrant, high performing team working within a fast-paced environment. This job is suited to someone who thrives on being busy, is exceptionally organised and can build rapport with clients and agencies. The ideal candidate will be able to use their initiative and take a proactive approach with all pitches and consultancy projects.

You will manage a Project Executive who supports the Pitch team and work closely with the Project Manager for Pitching and Managing Partners.

Purpose of the role

Subscription management
• Engage with agencies involved in the Oystercatchers Club and other agencies, through networking events, meetings, calls and other correspondence

New Business
• Support Client and Managing Partners with new business opportunities in preparation of proposals, credentials, organisation of meetings and attendance where relevant

• Lead on project management for consultancy projects
• Work closely with the Consultancy team to ensures smooth delivery of projects
• Work closely with Consultants and Partners where relevant to support delivery
• Building of proposals, to include budgeting and management of timelines

Agency Search & Selection: Pitch Processes
• Work closely with Managing Partners where relevant to support delivery
• Building of proposals, to include budgeting and management of timelines
• Be the day to day point of contact for agencies and clients involved in the process
• Help with longlisting of agencies
• Support in writing of briefs

About you

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Immaculate attention to detail
• Strong track record in agency/marketing industries, ideally in a media or creative agency environment
• People management experience
• Proven commercial acumen
• Interest in marketing and technology/digital
• Entrepreneurial with a problem-solving mentality and positive attitude
• Motivation to work independently and closely with colleagues
• Minimum 2-3 years’ marketing or agency experience
• An understanding of the marketing, agency and media landscape, including market challenges and developments that will affect clients
