Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager, with a background in Operations? Are you looking for that next challenge and eager to join a global leader in financial protection?

AXA Partners is looking for a Project Manager to join the Redhill team on a permanent basis. The Project Manager will work closely with the Operations Team, New Business Team, IT and Organisational Development Team, Global Account Management Team, plus other Project Managers and counterparts within the AXA Partners. Budgets will be set by the Head of Operational Performance, Projects and Implementations, (Travel Business Unit) in conjunction with International Operations Director.

At present there are two direct reports into this position: two Implementation Managers.

The post-holder will also liaise frequently with stakeholders in other hub offices and departments, and may need to travel to other locations occasionally.

The successful professional will be accountable for supporting AXA Partners through:

Support and improve global operational implementation system for new and existing business

*
Support continuous delivery of the Switch Program and future efficiency programs, as directed by the Head of Operational Performance, Projects and Implementation

*
Manage and lead delivery of operational projects across the Company’s global offices, ensuring that delivery consistently meets contractual and internal quality and compliance standards

*
Monitor the implementation project office budget on behalf of the Head of Operational Performance, Projects and Implementations, in particular expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits (whenever applicable)

*
The post-holder will act as an interface between the International Operations Department and the rest of the business in order to support delivery of critical work-streams.

Qualifications

*
A strong background in operations focused cross-functional project or operational management delivering tangible business value, ideally within the insurance, assistance or financial services sector

*
Proven experience working with international markets, and/or within international teams setup across the boarders

*
Demonstrable knowledge of at least one leading methodology, preferably Prince 2 or Agile, would be desirable

*
Proven ability successfully manage multiple projects or activities

*
Demonstrate analytical capabilities with ability to manage complex data and statistics to deliver sophisticated outcomes

*
Strong stakeholder management experience, including proven ability to establish early credibility, build robust relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, provide sensitive guidance, bring about consensus and resolve conflict

*
Strongly results-focussed, with evidence of actively driving strategic change, identifying and implementing process improvements, promoting a positive change-led culture and actively supporting best-practice goals

*
Strongly improvement-focussed, with evidence of actively seeking change, identifying and implementing improvements, promoting a positive change-led culture and actively supporting best-practice goals

*
Solid experience of supporting business leaders in achieving strategic direction and flow, including provision of business analysis and reports to enable clear and focussed decision-making

*
Confident and fluid communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and with an evident ability to explain complex concepts clearly, articulate key points out of general ideas, and negotiate successfully at all levels

Expert in producing very high-quality policy wordings, reports, letters and presentations

Evident ability to work at pace through conflicting priorities and with minimal g
