Fixed Mobile Convergence is one of the latest emerging spaces within the telecoms market, and a space the quad-play providers who also own their mobile and fixed line networks are perfectly placed to take advantage of. The first emerging solutions include hybrid routers, switching between fixed fibre and 4G networks, and Mesh Wifi networks.

As the Propositions Manager for one of these major players, your remit will be to take control of the development and delivery of a suite of converged propositions. This end to end from:

  • Consideration of customer need through data and market insight
  • Development of business case - identifying market potential and commercial opportunity
  • Bringing together the necessary project teams from across the business to create it
  • Consideration of the end-to-end customer experience - from purchase to use, and how your proposition will make their lives easier and be of real value
  • Through to launch into both digital and offline channels
  • Oversight of 'in-life' - tweaking value drivers to support the propositions commercial success and respond to competitor activity

This a largely green-field space with massive potential. The firm has launched a couple of commercial propositions to market already, but with the onset of 5G, there's a new range of opportunities and possibilities driven by market and customer needs to deliver to.

Your work will impact broadly across the consumer business, as you lead the development and delivery of propositions to market. Ensuring channel and operational readiness, covering product, technical and customer experience teams, ready to go live both online and through sales centre operations.

Compelling insight will be the underpin to all your commercial decision making, with you responsible for briefing the needs as well as extracting and translating core relevant and commercially compelling insights which inform your business cases and proposition development, continually improving the programme through test and trial stages too. Benchmarking across the existing consumer portfolio to ensure correct assessment of the overall opportunity available.

Role: Propositions Manager - Fixed Line/Mobile Convergence
Location: Central London
Salary: £40,000 to £60,000

Experience Required:

  • Industry relevant experience within consumer mobile, broadband, telephony, paid TV - in propositions development and marketing
  • You've been responsible for development and realisation of business cases, bringing new propositions to market
  • You've got a keen commercial mindset and a great understanding of the consumer. Able to leverage killer insights to inform your strategy which underpins proposition development
  • You put the consumer at the heart of decision making and can evidence this in how you approach your work
  • Great understanding of proposition development and go-to-market principals and best practice
  • A great understanding of how to understand and think through the customer experience in new proposition development
  • Really great stakeholder management skills - able to keep technical, commercial, finance, legal, marketing, operational teams on track with the development phases, meeting project deadlines and budgets
  • Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK - sponsorship cannot be provided.
