Due to exciting business growth, we have a new opportunity for a Team
Leader to join our Psychological Services team in Eastbourne, where you will
manage the psychological needs assessment and telephone counselling
function to support the delivery of our services. This is an 8 month fixed term

The successful individual will be responsible for managing a team of
Counsellors, ensuring achievement of SLAs, acting as point of clinical
escalation and consultancy, attending internal and external client meetings and
leading best practice at all times.

Additional responsibilities will include:

* Monitor
day to day operational performance, ensuring achievement of SLAs through
use of resources and teamwork

* Analyse
performance stats using workflow reports

* Identify
deficiencies and training needs

* Performance
management including performing 1-2-1s, monitoring defined KPIs

* Plan
resources effectively

* Identify
training needs and deliver training for team members through 1-2-1
coaching and mentoring

* Manage
any complaints through to satisfactory resolution

* Run
team meetings
* Work with other Team
Leaders within the business


You must have experience
working in a busy, high volume environment with a proven track record of
meeting KPIs and delivering results, whilst being able to effectively manage
conflicting priorities and demands.

will ideally be a qualified Counsellor with people management experience,
however this is not essential. It would also be advantageous to have experience
of AXA HR processes and procedures, and you must be able to work effectively as
part of a widespread team in order to ensure cohesion and high levels of
