As our Release Manager you will
manage delivery of complex changes through the Test Environments into
Production and continually improve release processes. You will work closely
with project managers, testers, development teams and third parties and so
strong communication and relationship building skills are a must.
We are particularly interested in
development experience as a big part of the role will include building and
maintaining automated release pipelines. If this sounds like you get in touch!
What you will be doing
* Working with Delivery Teams to
manage the release of their software and infrastructure changes through the
test environments into Production
* Building and maintaining automated release
processes in Microsoft Azure DevOps to ensure successful delivery via a secure,
* Build and successful implementation
of a Release (Agree scope, Planning, Review, Implementation, Remediation
Planning and Post Implementation Review)
* Plan and support the efficient
running of projects through AXA PPP’s non-production Environments
* Risk, Issue and conflict management
in relation to Release and Test Environment issues on assigned projects
* Manage all resources required to
deliver a release
* Ensure Software Configuration
Management activities throughout the full development lifecycle are maintained.
* Review and approve all Health IT
changes to ensure they comply to Change Management Policy and audit standards
Who are we looking for?
* Previous release management
experience based on ITIL principles and familiarity of DevOps principles
* Experience of tracking and
resolution of deployment issues
* Familiar with Microsoft Stack
technologies including .Net and MS SQL.
* Stakeholder management skills
* Ability to influence at all levels
