A great opportunity has arisen at AXA PPP healthcare for a Renewals Consultant working within our Renewals team.

This is a high profile area, focusing on delivering customer service calls for individual direct and partnership business. The position involves outbound calling to existing customers. You do not need a sales background but a desire to work in sales is always a good thing as well as previous experience in a customer service based role.

The role

The purpose of the role is to call existing customers prior to renewal of their policy. You will also be answering customer queries, explaining benefits and AXA’s health services to give value to enhance the customer’s experience. In the event that a customer wishes to review their cover you will be responsible offering to transfer the customer to our Specialist Membership Team for a review.

Targets are set on an annual and monthly basis and each agent is expected to achieve these targets.

Each Advisor is given extensive training on our innovative tools and products to ensure that you have the knowledge to maximise your potential. We will give you on going support and set up development plans for your career at AXA.

The Renewals Team work a rotating shift pattern – 9 – 5.30 and 10.30 – 6.30 from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 – 4.30 on Fridays. Saturday’s are worked on a rota basis of one Saturday in three with the hours of 9am - 1 pm. You will be paid an extra 5% shift allowance for working flexible shifts.


Ideally you will have experience of working in a customer service environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to achieve targets

You will need to be a high achiever and competitive in your work

We are looking for someone who has a strong customer focus, listening skills and a passion for ensuring the customer receives the right products for their needs

Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential

The starting salary for the Renewals Consultant role is £19,883 and can progress to £21,416 depending on performance. You also have the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus which is based on your personal performance and achievement of targets.
