Research & Proposal Manager - Berkshire - Social (education) sector
Not-for profit research organisation £40,000 - £46,000 + amazing holiday!

With the aim of improving education for young people across the UK (and sometimes internationally), this amazing independent organisation is well-known for their ability to conduct high impact research which supports effective policy and practice within the education sector.

This role sits within the bids team and will see you work closely with the Head of Department on a range of proposal and pitch development whilst also advising on research design and methodological approaches and supporting the wider team with training, coaching and mentoring where required.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a role which will see you have real impact within a leading not-for profit organisation and therefore create lasting change in education policy. Experience in social research will be essential (either via academia or a social research agency) and you will need to be confident in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Experience in bids is not essential, but you will need to have an interest in developing your skills and experience in this area as well as remaining up to date with research methods. A head for numbers and data will be key, but you will also need to be commercially focused with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for what you do.

If the above sounds like you and you would like to know more about this opportunity then please send your CV to Cate Biles at Resources Group: applytocate@resourcesgroup.com
