A leading Leadership, performance and learning development consultancy who also have strong business interests in events and speaking, is looking for a sales and marketing executive to join their growing and developing business.
Joining during an exciting phase of growth, this role will have a dual focus. On the one hand the role will assist with marketing activity: working on various social media platforms; co-ordinating with the PR agency; organising and attending events. On the other side, the role will support the Account Managers and Business Development professionals as they manage, develop and grow the client base and turn over of the business. Duties here will be varied but could include researching client and competitors, speaking with businesses (calling) to develop contacts, updating the CRM with contact information, attending events and representing the business at stands and responding to queries coming in to the business.
Whilst the role will have the opportunity to learn a lot from the people around it, it does come with expectation, responsibility and targets. The business is entrepreneurial and supportive of ideas at its core and it is looking for these traits to be present in all its employees. Therefore, you will be expected to be creative with your output and be forthcoming with ideas and innovations that will assist the sales and marketing teams moving forward. Along side this the role will be targeted – you will be expected to generate new opportunities for the team and you will be measured by how many enquiries and leads you can generate through your work.
