Facebook is looking for a high caliber business leader to be part of the Global Sales Operations team driving sound decisions, strategic planning and operational improvements across the Facebook teams that work with partners such as resellers, data partners, and marketing partners. The role will work across the Global Marketing Solutions group and with cross-functional teams in Global/ Region Sales, Legal, Finance and Business Intelligence/IT to build out business plans and operational tactics to drive scalable revenue growth, align partner efforts and create effective partner programs in the ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and its ecosystem, interested in advertising, a strategic thinker who can drive for results and able to move fast. This is a full-time position and is located in our London office.

Responsibilities

*
Be the trusted advisor for senior management on key business and operational activities related to Facebook’s ecosystem efforts with resellers, and marketing partners

*
Design and drive planning activities with the primary objective of enabling sales and partnership leadership to make effective, analytically-driven and strategic operating decisions

*
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent the partnership functions with cross-functional teams and in Region

*
Business planning and insights:
*
Support senior management in strategic, operational and financial planning and ensure decisions in line with the global sales organization’s approach

*
Drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business, leading business analysis including revenue, customer and market analysis

*
Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on revenue performance and any other KPI required by leadership to manage these businesses
Develop a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics and implications for Facebook’s strategy in each market

*
Design tools and processes in support of these businesses

*
Strategic projects and initiatives:
*
Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for the Reseller, Partnerships, Agency and Global Sales teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

*
Lead/facilitate cross functional teams to get work done, driving recommendations through to implementation

*
Support local implementation of global programs together with teams in Region

*
Drive operational excellence in the sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

*
In conjunction with business owners, provide guidance in developing strategic partnerships and reseller relationships assessing viability and return on investment

Minimum Qualifications

*
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, or other related discipline

*
MBA preferred

*
10+ years of project management and business/ sales operations experience - preferably in the digital media space and with exposure to sales, media partnerships, and agency/reseller/channel programs

*
6+ years building and managing teams

*
Experience leading sales strategy and operations projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy/ sales operations team

*
Change management experience a plus

*
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)

*
Strong project management and influencing skills

*
Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

*
Solutions and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumen

*
Understanding of organizational dynamics, operating experience with large and complex organizations

*
People and team leadership skills

*
Willingness and ability to travel and to support multiple time zones in our global organization

*
International experience and/or multicultural skills a plus
