We are looking for an analytical, driven individual to join our Chief Technology Organisation as a Scrum Master within an agile environment. In this role, you will increase practical agile capability across the team, optimise efficiency and remove barriers to ensure software solutions are delivered within timescales across multiple workstreams and software application products. Clear and proactive communication is key in this role to ensure effective and efficient delivery.

What you will be doing

Encourage and identification and removal of impediments that hinder progress, to maximise the efficiency of the team(s)

Coach and mentor all stakeholders in the appropriate behaviours and practice, to enable the most efficient and effective delivery of valuable outcomes, encouraging self-management and self-organisation

Foster a safe, transparent environment, to continually optimise delivery through a practice of inspection and adaptation

Influence all management levels to consistently enable productive change, aligning to “servant leader” principles

Establish clear lines of accountability and communications, between key stakeholders and team members

Involvement in progress and product status reporting, change management, facilitation of work prioritisation and resource planning

Work proactively with a variety of teams to continuously develop the approach taken to software delivery

For a number of the above areas be involved in a number of different “continuous delivery” style workstreams


Who are we looking for?

* Experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent for a software development team that followed Agile principles and practices (using Scrum or DSDM or other recognised formal methodology)
* Significant experience working in a software development team
* Good knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
* Experience in using Agile tools (preferably Azure Dev Ops / VSTS)
* Analytical skills
* Experience in set up of management reporting, reporting progress and change management
* Excellent communication skills
