Department background
The Global Agreements team is a growing business unit within Santander Consumer Finance that supports the needs of our manufacturer partners across the globe. Apart from PSA, all manufacturer partnerships are managed by the UK based Global Account Director and this team. The business unit manages customer relationships with manufacturer central teams and therefore is a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their skills and experience and gain strategic and international exposure.

The role
The Global Account Executive supports the Global Account Manager to deliver upon the needs of the customer, and will take on some responsibility to manage agreements directly, whilst proactively analysing and providing Management Information requirements. Co-ordination and relationship management with our Madrid Head office and markets is also required to ensure good communication with all stakeholders.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
• Support the Global Account Manager to co-ordinate the global relationship with the customer up to Director level.
• Support the performance of the markets to deliver Key Performance Indicators in terms of profit and volume.
• Generation and analysis of accurate reports for the customer and internal stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Good communication and contact with customers and local markets to ensure the co-ordination of activity.
• Support and manage projects where applicable to add value to the customer account and increase volume and profitability to SCF.
• Good knowledge of legal documentation regarding the account to ensure all contractual terms are adhered to.
• The range of responsibilities means that the role will be partly Redhill based and will require significant international travel. As a result the successful candidate must reside in the South East of England.

Qualifications/Accreditations/Professional Membership & Level
o Ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and motivate at all levels.
o Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
o Good computer skills (MS Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
o Excellent initiative and problem solving ability.
o Solid understanding of financial accounts and automotive KPIs.
o Account management experience with a Captive or Independent Finance Company.
o Excellent Sales Skills with a Captive or Independent Finance Company.
o Have at least 5 years motor finance experience in a customer facing sales or marketing position.
o Focus on learning and self-development.

Other Requirements of the Role
• The job-holder must possess a full driving license.
• Extensive travel within Europe and from time to time within the UK.
• Reside in the South East of England in close proximity to airports.
