A leading international law firm is looking for a very high-calibre person to join their prominent business development team and work within their IP and Cyber Security practices.
The Senior BD Executive will have a very broad remit covering both marketing and business development. Strategy and planning will be vital with the role holder preparing and implementing BD plans for the practices and providing tactical and strategic advice to the IP and Cyber Security partners to achieve their business development strategy. On the BD side there will be involvement in the bids process, drawing together information and managing the process and in particular guiding partners in each bid. CRM will also be involved as you keep abreast of client issues to enable pro-active identification of business opportunities and assist partners to pursue them. On the broader marketing side, management of the directory submissions will a key immediate responsibility along with PR, events, project management of the development of marketing collateral and publications.
In order to be considered for this challenging role, you will need to have a good academic background allied to proven marketing and business development experience in a professional services firm, preferably legal, to include experiencing of managing client events. An analytical mind and the ability to deal at the highest levels within the firm from day one are also pre-requisites of the role. Prior experience and high interest levels in one or more of the respective practice areas is preferred, especially around technology.
