Why work as part of their Brand Marketing team?
Their Brand Marketing team at Burton’s are passionate about the brands they look after, you will also get to work cross functionally which will see you spending time with their Category, Commercial, Bakeries & NPD teams. Each Senior Brand Manager will have full ownership of their Brand Portfolio which will also include taking the lead & development of the 3 year vision & strategy. Including a £2 million budget for ATL & BTL advertising, including TV & Digital.
In your case you will take full responsibility for our Maryland Cookies portfolio, which is No.1 Cookie Brand in the UK and can currently be found in, 1 in 5 households. Maryland Cookies had a great TV ad campaign in 2017 and we have plans to be back on television next year in 2020. It really is an exciting time not only for the biscuit category but Maryland Cookies as well.
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
Currently operating at Senior Brand Manager or an experienced Brand Manager looking to take the next step in their career. It is essential that you have experience of FMCG consumer brands, including brand activation and delivering ATL activities. Experience of managing a marketing budget would be beneficial.
Demonstrable experience in delivering Innovation to market is important, including understanding shopper insights & trends.
Final part of the mix.
Although line management experience is preferred, candidates must be able to demonstrate mentoring, coaching including assigning & reviewing of work.
You’ll also have an Assistant Brand Manager reporting into you, a key part of the role will be to support, mentor and develop them.
