7 years ago we spotted the need to bring some much needed change to our category (one of the fastest growing areas of UK Grocery) and take on the major players at their own game, to date we’re Top 10 with huge aspirations to be Top 5 by the end of 2018 and still aiming high to be the No.1 in the next 5 years. We’ve built fantastic business relationships with the major Grocery Retailers including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco and an excellent distribution network across the UK and Europe.
We’re at a pivotal moment in the growth of our company, with a hugely exciting future ahead and plans to truly shake up the retail category with a full brand re-launch, outstanding NPD and a new consumer campaign planned throughout 2018 and onwards. Our marketing team are creating a truly world class brand and consequently we need a sales team to deliver that ambition. We’re a small team based in South West London, but punching way above our weight in terms of skill, innovation and experience. The business is Founder led, with a great informal working environment but a steely resolve to deliver, team members are given wide autonomy to do what they do best.
We need an experienced Brand Manager to develop the innovation strategy, taking the business into new markets and delivering market-leading innovation in store. You will work in conjunction with the Marketing & Innovation Director and across the team in general - sales, core marketing, operations, finance etc. We need someone with the steely resolve to get things done, to take your previous experience of (ideally) big branded FMCG and grasp the opportunity here to use all that knowledge, drive and fire in the belly in our smaller more agile environment. Proactive? That’s a given. Self-starter? Of course. Someone who thinks and suggest rather than asks? Spot on!
You're going to be involved in everything Innovation-wise, from ideation to launch, evaluating new market opportunities and creating new products/concepts. You need to be intelligent, creative and entrepreneurial and the type of person who is looking for an ambitious and passionate business not afraid to shake up the category and take on the big boys, creating a challenger brand. We are fast paced - our business changes every 6 months - so an adaptable, flexible mindset is standard in our team.
