Senior Change and Communications Manager

£50k - £60k per annum plus bonus and benefits

The Senior Change and Communication Manager will play a vital role in supporting the efficient communication of significant organisational and cultural change across the business unit and global/regional colleagues. It will also support key programmes and their adoption throughout the business.

You will also have the opportunity to play a role on the journey to adopting more agile working practices, and will be recognised and trusted throughout the global business as a communications expert and change advocate. Your key stakeholders will include the product, sales, delivery and other client-facing teams.

About the role:

  • As part of the Global Software Product Management business, you will support the Programme Director in coordinating and managing communications to drive an ongoing organisational and cultural change initiative.
  • Creating effective business communications strategies for the business unit.
  • Coordinating a stream of internal and external communications activities - i.e. newsletters and memos.
  • Designing content and format of key announcements.
  • Writing content for the company website.
  • Planning key events, seminars, press conferences etc.
  • Regular communication with the "C" suite.
  • Managing incoming enquiries, coordinating interviews, statements, workshops, meetings etc.
  • Building the long-term change communications plan and supporting change activities.
  • Supporting the programme director in working with key stakeholders across the business to build best practice.
  • Working cross-functionally within the business to leverage innovation, ideation, best practice, building relationships to gain the support and buy-in of the business.

Essential experience:

  • Previous communications management and/or change management and implementation and embedding of agile methodology.
  • Approximately 5+ years' experience in specialist communications roles/functions.
  • Experience of/knowledge in copy-writing, proofreading and editing.
  • A proven track record of success in project management.
  • Proven photo and video editing skills.
  • Experience of working alongside or within product management, project management, or software development teams.
  • Experience of working within an agile environment.
  • Cross-functional working experience across teams, stakeholder groups, the wider business up to C-level.
  • Experience of collaborating across multiple countries, time-zones and functions.
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing or a similar, business-related topic.
  • Experience in Salesforce, Confluence, ServiceNow, Aha, NewsWeaver or Poppulo would be advantageous.
