A leading international legal firm with extensive reach across four continents is looking for a Senior Client Account Manager to join their successful and growing team.
This role holder will be responsible for advancing one or more of the firm's key client relationships and also developing local relationships on other key global accounts. The Senior Client Account Manager will drive the delivery of goals around client account penetration, ensuring multiple practices and geographies are represented with the firm's most important accounts. The role is client facing and there is an expectation the successful applicant will spend a reasonable proportion of their time on client sites, building connections and developing client insight to share with the relationship team. You will need to interact with client contacts and builds on client relationships by becoming a central point of contact for the client to provide feedback, request information and build trust. Developing strategic plans and agreeing the direction of key client relationship development with a focus on penetration and expansion programs, including goal setting, metrics, support offerings, globalisation and financial and performance reporting will represent an essential element of the role. You will be tasked with providing direction, structure and support for client team infrastructure, overseeing strategic market and client research and analysis and competitive intelligence-gathering related to the firm's target market segments and utilise to identify and open up opportunities for the firm. You will also contribute to development and implementation of key client team initiatives, including a client satisfaction and client input program, lawyer training and other initiatives to enhance business development efforts.
You will be a bright graduate or equivalent with substantial professional services BD or sales experience and highly tuned relationship management skills. A knowledge and comprehension of financial markets, financial institutions and financial products will also be key. Assertive, self-motivated, proactive and able to operate with limited day-to-day direction, the Senior Client Account Manager will have a strong presence and be capable of engaging credibly and effectively with partners and clients internationally. The ideal candidate will also possess proven leadership and supervisory experience.
