This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong media and communications professional, who has experience of creating engaging content of all varieties, to join our busy and high performing Marketing team.

It is an exciting time to join Flint Bishop, as we continue our expansion plans to open new offices and enter new markets nationally.

The main responsibility of this role is to proactively implement a firm-wide communications strategy that assists in achieving the firm’s strategic objectives, especially in relation to growth and business development.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Graphic Designer, you will work on integrated marketing campaigns across the firm, ensuring the latest issues and challenges affecting our clients are addressed through multiple channels including events, thought-leadership pieces, PR, social media and website content.


Your duties will include:

  • Conducting an ongoing critique of the firm’s content and suggest improvements for ongoing development.

  • Writing original copy for adverts and social networks

  • Researching industry-related topics to prepare and publish articles that market our firm and services.

  • Working closely with all teams to fulfil content requests and maintain the content calendar.

  • Creating innovative and impactful content that optimises the path to conversion, including online resources, website landing pages and email campaigns.

  • Preparing content for marketing and sales collateral, including capability brochures, client proposals and direct mail.

  • Implementing the firm’s PR plan, including researching, planning and submitting press releases, industry awards and tender applications.

 Candidate

You will be a content advocate, someone who is great at building relationships and is passionate about writing content that stands out.

You will have:

  • At least five years of copywriting experience, preferably within the professional services sector.

  • Portfolio of published articles.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • A self-motivated, innovative and creative work ethic and a desire to succeed.

  • Basic keyword search knowledge and an understanding of Google Analytics to track the success of published content.

  • Experience in using tools such as Hootsuite and WordPress.

  • Educated to a degree level qualification or above in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field.
