Senior Data Analyst (Insight, SQL) BLUD77259
Salary & benefits: Circa £35,000 per annum, depending on level of experience
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced data analyst to join us as a senior member of the Fundraising Insight Team. You will be joining us at a very exciting time, as we launch our new brand this April and embark on ambitious plans for fundraising growth. You will lead on the production of campaign data selections, income and campaign reporting and detailed analysis work.
Working closely with and mentoring the Data Analyst in the team you will work with fundraising colleagues to ensure that all data selections for marketing campaigns are timely and accurate and include a focus on testing, learning and the generation of actionable insight.
You will maintain and develop a suite of automated income, campaign and KPI dashboards / reports, ensuring that marketing colleagues have access to reliable management information as and when they need it. This will involve maintaining a complex SQL-based data warehouse.
You will work closely with the Insight Manager to drive forward our reporting, analysis and forecasting capabilities, so that we can accurately assess the performance of our marketing campaigns and enable future funding decisions to be data-driven and informed by a robust evidence base. Using data skills in SQL, data analysis packages such as SPSS and statistical techniques such as CHAID and logistic regression, you will lead on a range of projects that will provide valuable and actionable Insight for colleagues across the Marketing Directorate.
You’ll bring a wealth of data analysis skills with you and will have a thirst for gaining knowledge and learning new skills. You’ll have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and be skilled at communicating complex information to colleagues in non-technical roles. You’ll be a champion for change and development, always looking for ways we can improve, and you’ll be confident in questioning and challenging perceptions.
