As the Senior Digital Analytics Manager, you will be leading a team of 6, overseeing the company's digital analytics programme which is made up of behavioural analysis and insight, conversion optimisation as well as reporting.

This is a great opportunity if you're looking to shift the balance of your remit from majority hands-on with some management/strategic aspects to one that's principally oriented towards management and strategic direction setting.

Your remit will be to set the tone and direction for your team. The balance is circa 80% leadership, stakeholder engagement and team management and 20% hands-on analytics work. So you will need to have experience of working with various web analytics tools (ideally Adobe Analytics) to be effective in helping to nurture, develop and problem solve for your team.

Your key stakeholders will sit with the company's digital function. This is a large team of circa 100+ people, sitting across ecommerce, product and propositions, digital performance and customer experience.

You will be initial gatekeeper for the various requests for data and insight coming into the team. Challenging where appropriate to ensure the right questions are being asked, so analytics projects will achieve the right output - being powerful insights, able to achieve meaningful business impact and drive fact-based decision making.

Projects will cover the full spectrum of analytics delivery, including ad-hoc and regular requests for insight - looking at opportunities to automate these as well as promote self-service capabilities. Rapid insight projects, as well as the longer-term complex, strategic and multi-disciplinary projects too.

Their data and insight function provides the business with critical understanding about their customers across all consumer product sets. They typically analyse behavioural patterns and usage data. Experience Required:

  • Sound grounding in digital analytics tools and the marketing tech which supports the digital analytics environment - such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, WebTrends, Adobe Workbench, SessionCam
  • Must have previous line management experience of web/digital analysts
  • You really understand and can articulate the differences between digital vs traditional analytics programmes, so know how to define and drive the strategy behind a web/digital analytics programme
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills - when probing data and insight briefs, as well as articulating findings in meaningful, clear ways with an emphasis on actionable insight
  • Able to demonstrate where and how you've had a positive impact on a business and its results through leading digital analytics programmes, ensuring the work your team are doing is adding value to a business and making a difference
  • Sound analytical pedigree with strong numerical capabilities ideally backed through academic achievements
  • Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK
