Context/Scope:

To ensure we drive our digital transformation forward we have created a role for a Senior Digital Consumer Marketing Partner to join our Digital Technology team. This role will add deep subject matter expertise on consumer marketing and commerce into the Digital Centre of Excellence and define the digital technology strategy and roadmap in how we support our markets unlocking the opportunity for advancing consumer engagement and progressing commerce. A blend of commercial, marketing and technical knowledge is required to help drive digital transformation in the end to end commercial process of our business to help us succeed in digital commerce.

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Digital Consumer Marketing Partner will work with the global and regional Marketing functions to co-define a business to consumer strategy and technology roadmap with the assistance of the functionally/market aligned business partners. They will provide the leadership and subject matter expertise and support to the regional business partners to turn this strategy into an implementation roadmap.

Top accountabilities:
* Strong understanding of business processes and complexity
* Ability to shape strategy, delivery outcomes and influence change
* Work with key stakeholders in market and project teams to implement the transformation strategy ensuring it delivers against the business objectives.
* Ability to shape business cases, determine benefits, define capability requirements to deliver the change into markets in partnership with other functional and market teams.
* Digital Consumer Marketing Platforms used to host and manage consumer data – making sure that these platforms are known and used effectively by the marketing functions
* Digital Commerce Platforms: both B2C and D2C in terms of consistency and driving the global development and roll-out of any platforms
* Shoppable Content: to support the provision of a model and structure for the central strategy for digitally commerce enabled content
* Supporting the local markets in how to set up and take advantage of Digital Commerce in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Partner function
* Support the recruitment and the development of Digital Commerce talent into the business
* Provide up-to-date and expert knowledge on the technical landscape for Digital Commerce operations
* Determine and actively tackle the key enablers across people, process and systems to drive forward our Digital Commerce and Marketing footprint
* Define performance KPIs with data requirements
* Create a technology roadmap for global roll out
* As Diageo evolves and extends its Digital Commerce footprint, the remit of this role will also evolve, you must be comfortable adapting to change

Qualifications and experience required:
* Excellent stakeholder management
* Excellent communication and ability to influence
* Ability to work and deliver with and through others in a multifunctional team supporting project roles located in multiple locations and time zones
* Strong organizational, customer service experience
* Good understanding of business process, experience generating performance insights using performance report and KPIs,
* Experience in creating a technology roadmap in support of business strategy
* Experience in shaping compelling business case for change and quantify cost and benefits
* Experience of leading organisational change within a matrix managed organisation
* As SME for his/her business area, ensure that there is capability build and that knowledge is shared globally across IS and the business
