Senior E-Commerce Manager – iD Mobile

Purpose of the role:

The E-Commerce Manager role is responsible for continuously optimising conversion and monetisation of our traffic through CRO, UX, promotions and merchandising. The role collaborates closely with the Acquisition Manager, Trading team, Social Media and Display teams to align strategies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Accountable for the optimisation of the site from top to bottom funnel to increase site conversion of traffic to orders and sales, and the management of initiatives to achieve this
* Collaborates with the Trading team on the formulation and execution of our online trading strategy;

* Delivers the agreed strategy through the merchandising of the website and the creation, publication and management of promotions and content
* Is the evangelist for e-commerce best practice
* Co-owns the UX and CRO strategy with the help of the UX team and the Digital Analyst
* Is the linking pin with Operations for the continuous development of our website in respect of UX and CRO as well as for BAU front end work
* Manages all product setup, content and EOL directly/through stakeholders
* Collaborates closely with Display, Social Media and CRM to align on-site activity
* Supports non-trading website content requirements
* Delivers reporting, insight and analysis to the rest of iD regarding conversion of traffic and site performance;
* Provides detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
* Manages and develops direct report(s)

Knowledge/Skills:

* Experience in all relevant areas of the role for 3 years or equivilent, must specifically include demonstrable record of increasing traffic conversion, site efficiency and performance;
* Experience of consistently driving e-commerce best practice
* To work effectively with the Acquisition Manager, who owns the responsibility for SEO, you have a good understanding of SEO principles
* To work effectively with our Digital Analyst and web platform Product Manager, you have a good understanding of CRO methodology, MVT practices, Digital analytics, User testing and usability heuristics
* Expert Google and/or Adobe analytics user;
* You have a good understanding of front end technology (HTML, CSS)
