Our client is an established consumer credit fintech who have grown exponentially in the last few years (from 50 staff to 250 in their London office since 2015). They're one of the leading credit card businesses in the UK, with established own and co brand businesses - and they manage the store cards for a number of the UK's top retailers.

It is now looking for a Senior Manager - Brand to join its team and deliver a range of brand focused projects across its product portfolio.

The key focus areas for this role include:

  • The delivery of visibility of the overarching marketing experience for new products and partners for the Co-Brands portfolio
  • Ownership of proposition/USP development across the portfolios
  • Delivery of multiple strategic brand re-fresh and positioning projects
  • Accountability for ATL campaign production
  • Strategic brand counsel on multiple projects across the organisation
  • Partnership with relevant marketing teams, ensuring alignment of creative to brand strategies

Key accountabilities:

  • Overarching accountability for delivery of a single view of the marketing proposition and experience for new partners and new product builds, centralising views from across Co-Brands acquisition and Marketing ECM teams.
  • Lead and deliver creative requirements for new partners
  • Lead and delivery of brand proposition for Co-Brand projects
  • Lead on delivery for all Business Development creative requirements
  • Workstream lead for consumer brand refresh projects,
  • Partnership with the acquisition and existing customer marketing teams, ensuring creative is tightly linked back to brand strategy and insights from Brand Tracking
  • Production lead for ATL creative across Own Brand portfolio, working closely with the Senior Manager, Creative
  • Accountability for a robust brand management/approval process working closely with the Senior Manager, Creative
  • Strategic brand counsel across projects and products
  • Marketing and campaign guidance for Manifesto campaigns, working closely with the Manager, Manifesto

Experience needed:

  • Experience translating the marketing/customer experience into a clear single view
  • A strategic thinker with experience driving brand strategy across a portfolio of brands
  • Experience developing clear propositions for brands and products and optimising driven by insight
  • Senior stakeholder management skills ranging from Manager to Director level
  • Superb project management skills, managing multiple projects/workstreams at any given time
  • Campaign ownership and delivery across ATL and direct channels
  • A robust understanding of the creative campaign and production process - including budget management
  • A track record of owning strategic brand and creative agencies, fostering strong relationships
  • An understanding of media planning and strategy
  • Experience driving brand tracking and brand health reporting, leveraging insights accordingly
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading project teams
  • An understanding of the full marketing mix across disciplines
  • Proven Acquisition and Existing Customer Marketing experience
  • Financial Services Marketing/Advertising experience
  • Understanding of processes to drive effective Brand Management
  • Internal brand campaign delivery
  • Experience driving PR/Sponsorship properties
  • Experience leveraging social as part of the brand campaign mix
  • Experience with activations and events
  • Working on brand related projects that involve elements of technical delivery
  • Experience working on and delivering elements of re-brand projects

  • A natural problem solver, someone who can help navigate teams and stakeholders groups to help everyone see the right brand and experience solution
  • Has vision and drive, injects a high level of personal energy into helping those around them see possibilities they couldn't see before
  • A strong customer focus, someone who is a natural champion of the customer through our brands
  • A storyteller, they are passionate about how brands connect with consumers through their purpose
  • Loves creative and the creative development process
