One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for a commercially minded senior manager level candidate to become a key member of their Consulting marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Consulting Marketing and working alongside another senior marketing manager, you can expect challenge and ample scope to develop. The prime focus of the Sales and Marketing team is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver commercial impact with purpose and tell stories that inspire. The consulting marketing business aligned team sits within the firm's Sales and Marketing function and works closely with the consulting business. The small senior team supports the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and oversees the delivery of go to market campaigns and projects within consulting, delivering insight on key issues of relevance to clients and markets, in support of the consulting strategy and the firm's growth priorities. The team are focused on driving sustainable and profitable growth as well as defining the firm's brand within selected markets and segments. The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee the development and delivery of marketing activity across all areas of the consulting line of service. The role will require somebody to be confident with marketing strategy development, audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, channel and content management, analytics and ROI measurement. You will provide leadership in the delivery of all marketing activity across multiple channels and must ensure marketing activity is continuously improved. You will offer expert advice on the most appropriate approach, content and channel mix and be accountable for ensuring that quality and brand standards are always upheld. The role holder will also be responsible for defining short and long-term ROI measures, taking responsibility for delivery and evaluation of ROI on all activity, and for supporting the development of a high performing marketing team.
The Senior Marketing Manager must be a creative and innovative graduate with extensive services marketing experience and a proven track record in the provision of multi-channel marketing campaigns and of developing and implementing marketing strategy matched to commercial objectives, through change and ambiguity. Proactive and tenacious, with a positive can do approach, you will possess strong people management and development skills with demonstrable past experience of managing high-performing teams. In addition, candidates will require powerful communication skills in order to be credible with senior leadership.
