The brainchild of Cambridge graduates, this innovative series-A digital business has created a platform set to revolutionise one of the UK's biggest, and oldest institutions. Taking a process which traditionally takes a lot of time and cost, making it intuitive, simple and free to the end user, all wrapped up in a mobile App.
The product is already launched to market. Your role, as the company's first senior marketing appointment, will be to decide the best marketing strategy to achieve growth of its customer base.
This will include you working with the company owners to decide the most appropriate and effective channels to reach target audience demographics. Build the company's brand, establishing recognition and trust with the consumer which results in app downloads.
All marketing channels are open to you, including traditional ATL and BTL as well as digital media such as paid social, content, social influencers, etc. A growth hacker mindset with disruptive and innovative ideas in how to leverage these to best effect will be positively encouraged.
Being a start-up, there's lots to do and plenty of excitement and belief from those who have joined the business. Buying into the company's mission to revolutionise digital healthcare and the relationship between patient, GP's and pharmacies.
There's lots you can turn your hand to as well. Operationally they're still quite lean, but have a hiring roadmap to help support the growth ambition, this includes doubling the firm's headcount over the next 6 months.
Similarly, because of their start-up nature, you can expect your remit will not just be siloed into promotional brand and comms work, but will also extend to support the development of the product itself as they bring on new feature and functionality, as well as monetise the platform too. Utilising customer insight research to help shape the product roadmap as well as input into things like UX too.
They have agency support for specialist channel areas like SEO and PPC, you will be stepping in to have oversight of those relationships and ensure they're delivering as required.
The firm is looking for someone really ambitious and hungry to show off their marketing credentials. Someone who's target driven and understands performance based marketing efforts whilst also keeping one eye on brand measures too.
Someone who 'get it' when it comes to start-up culture and not afraid to get involved in the deep end, share ideas, try new things and really buys into a company's mission.
