Senior Marketing Manager - Healthcare
£40,000 to £50,000, Bonus, Car, Pension, Healthcare
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and PR, EMEAA and working as a key member of the EMEAA Marketing Team, this role will provide strategic input and direction that will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the European Marketing support function. Includes strategy development, evaluating, planning, organizing and executing effective marketing programs.
Key areas of focus are on supporting corporate strategies for the Healthcare business by generating leads for the Sales Teams and growing the clients brand in the European region, assisting with the achievement of company goals. This role will have overall responsibility and accountability for regional marketing activities in the UK, Ireland and may include continental Europe, depending on business requirements.
*Sales Support - Act as the liaison between all levels of the European Leadership Team and the EMEAA sales support team to ensure that all online tools, collateral and support programs are optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
*Search Engine Marketing & Optimization tactics - Objective is to grow and optimize Paid search (SEM), Organic Search (SEO) and display network programs.
*Source, build and manage relationships with third party lead generation agencies
*Website Content and Functionality - Create new and oversee the updating of content across the company's European websites.
*Non-Customer Nurture - Provide local direction and recommendations on list development, segments, assets and execution strategy, through quarterly program reviews.
*Lead Management Process - Work with internal teams to ensure an effective lead management process is maintained and executed.
*Social Media - Work to develop, implement and execute a European-specific social media program that aligns with global strategy and supports business objectives.
*Customer Nurture - Provide local direction and recommendations on list development, segments, assets and execution strategy, through quarterly program reviews.
*Customer Survey- Provide strategic direction and support for the European region in the development of customer survey and feedback mechanism.
*Local Marketing Programs - The Senior Marketing Manager will be accountable for the planning, organizing, executing and evaluating local programs.
*Public Relations - Working directly, as appropriate with the local Public Relations Agency, the Senior Marketing Manager will execute proactive PR tactics through in-house and agency resources.
*Perform research and analysis of industry, markets, competition, product and service offerings. Analyse market data and identify opportunities.
*Develop annual plans and budget and gain management buy-in
*Manage the implementation of the annual Marketing Plan.
*Manage the creative approval process.
*Work closely with the global marketing team on joint initiatives as appropriate.
*Provide day to day leadership and guidance to the European Marketing team and Marketing and PR Agencies
*Manage and ensure strong collaboration between all marketing partners to meet initiatives, budgets and timelines.
*Work with sales teams to provide sales materials and co-marketing materials for customers when required.
*Create and manage lead generation campaigns
*Monitor the performance of the Marketing Plan and act to ensure delivery of desired outcomes.
*Track individual program results and ROI.
*Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
*Provide clear communications to branches with respect to marketing concepts, marketing plans and programs.
*Ensures that company principles and brand standards are adhered to
*Protects and enhances the corporate image of the company by monitoring the external use of company intellectual assets, policies, and procedures, and taking or recommending actions to correct.
*Management and development of subordinates as appropriate
*Sales Collateral - Oversee the creation or adaptation of all sales collateral as needed. Online Directory Program - Manage all local online directory and advertising programs
*5+ years' experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B services environment.
*Proficient in program or project management with effective time and priority management skills; ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects.
*Experience working in a Business to Business Sales environment
*Experience working in a European or global environment an asset
*Proven initiative and ability to champion a project from conception through to implementation
*Experience in working in a highly confidential environment
*Experience of generating sales leads through multi-channel and integrated activity and campaigns

*University/undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism or public relations (candidates with comparable background or equivalent work experience will be considered);
*Post graduate diploma or degree preferred (i.e. CIM / MBA)
