As the Senior Marketing Manager, Lower Extremities - Foot & Ankle, you are responsible to lead Depuy Synthes commercial and marketing efforts across the full portfolio of Foot & Ankle (F&A) lower extremity segment to include brand positioning, portfolio management and development, business planning, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the ability to apply the following competencies to Brand or Portfolio management leveraging the VMx framework:

The ability to plan and build a differentiated and clearly positioned brand that engages loyal customers and grows sales.

*
The ability to identify customer insights and market trends, including relationships with customers and influencers that enhance delivery of marketing strategy and business results.

*
The ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to effectively achieve business goals.

*
The ability to manage brands compliantly and with financial acumen through the application of appropriate rules, guidelines and financial principals.

*
The ability to translate key stakeholder insights into strategies that meet category business needs to deliver long-term profitable growth.

*
The ability to commercialize a product in a manner consistent with the New Product Commercialization (NPC) process, following the LEX framework, that achieves peak sales in a timely manner and delivers sustained business growth.

*
The ability to frame a story and align others to a business building outcome.

On the respective product portfolio, to support:

Lifecycle management

*
Marketing campaigns and marketing materials (incl. relevant and compelling promotional collateral, surgical technique, etc.)

*
Capability planning

*
Pricing strategy and execution with the countries

Portfolio management and segmentation

*
KOL management

*
Sales training

*
Business plan preparation work

*
Responsible for two to three key market opportunities

Map and understand the market situation for these opportunities

*
Work on Business Cases to address the opportunity together with the countries

*
Plan and execute the roll-out plans to address the opportunity

*
Partner on Strategic Account Management process: key account acquisition and build-up of reference centers

*
Gain deep market insight and understanding within the field of competency; drive this knowledge into the markets

Competitive assessments

*
Participate in strategic portfolio planning

Qualifications

*
Graduate, preferably in Life Science

*
Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (an advantage but not essential)

*
MBA (an advantage but not essential)

*
8-10 years of previous marketing and/or sales experience in a Healthcare Company

*
