Are you looking to drive the growth and brand awareness for the Kindle and Amazon Books brands? We are looking for an experienced media expert to lead our Kindle and Books acquisition and branding in the EU. This opportunity is based in Luxembourg.

This smart, analytical, excited and results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager in a highly visible role will work with businesses across both the books and broader Amazon organization in Europe, USA and WW. You will define our acquisition strategy and increase Kindle and Amazon Books brand awareness through existing as well as innovative or new channels.

Specific responsibilities include the following:
· Define Kindle and Books integrated media planning and communications strategy
· Develop best practices on branding and ATL campaigns for Books/Kindle as well as global stakeholders/counterparts in other marketplaces
· Oversee and approve all buys, campaign monitoring and media optimization decisions
· Own a substantial EU media budget with accountability for campaign effectiveness and efficiency
· Build and manage strong working relationship with external agencies and partners
· Track, dive deep, and communicate business metrics, media plans and measurement to senior stakeholders
· Introduce and drive adoption of new media platforms, technologies and measurement solutions.
· Coordinate multinational and cross functional team to launch and track product and branding experiments / launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record leading multi-million dollar media investment for large international businesses
· Expertise across both traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social.
· Deep technical understanding of paid media platforms (DoubleClick, Facebook Ad Manager, etc.) and measurement methodologies (brand uplift studies, etc.).
· Ability to assimilate relevant data sources and hone in on key insights that drive business recommendations. Advanced Excel skills.
· Entrepreneurial self-starter skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.
· Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams, stakeholders and leadership.
· Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
· Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions
· Experience working in a global environment; international work experience is a plus
· Must have strong bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors or advanced degree in business, marketing or advertising
· In depth knowledge of media landscapes across Europe
