Senior Marketing Manager UK - Fast Growth Digital Software Brand
c.£70K-£80K + Bonus, Stock, Benefits Package

Exceptional strategic brand thinking skills, B2C or B2B, with a hands-on grasp of media, comms strategy and digital analytics, are all key for this exciting and challenging opportunity to take on day-to-day UK marketing leadership for this fast-growth software brand, used primarily by SMEs and sole traders to help manage and plan their businesses.  Working within a dynamic UK team, liaising closely with the company’s US head office, you will be responsible for developing & implementing global brand and media strategies in the UK, building locally relevant plans that engage the consumer and accelerate the continued success of this brand, already used by over 350,000 people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with global media & strategy teams to build, guide and support locally relevant media plans and tactics that align to the global brand strategy.
  • Supporting the local marketing team in defining key consumer targets and the optimum strategy to reach and engage them.
  • Working closely with product marketing and comms teams to inform product innovation and content and creative assets for different audiences.
  • Tracking UK campaign & media performance, partnering with local teams to identify, understand, and embed key drivers of performance into brand planning.
  • Providing clear and relevant performance insights to key stakeholders as well as meaningful conclusions from brand, media, and business metrics.
  • Share insights across key markets and local teams to inform brand comms, business innovation and in-market activation initiatives.

Skills Checklist

A robust background in consumer or B2B brand management, brand strategy development or brand & media performance work is key for this challenging role, managing a brand with a significant growth potential.  This role could suit someone with product or service marketing experience.  Other skills/experience include:

  • A strong academic background, quite possibly with a business degree and/or an MBA
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage close relationships with global and local teams) to drive business results
  • Clear written/verbal communications, able to manage the expectations of key stakeholders and work collaboratively to make brand & media strategies consistent and effective across the globe
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with global marketing leaders, creative & content teams, agency partners, analytics and product marketing teams
  • Willingness to embrace change and adapt to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity in your day-to-day responsibilities
