In keeping with their focus on remaining at the forefront of the industry, the leadership team have identified a need to appoint a Senior Product Manager to play a pivotal and strategic role in their product strategy.
Scope & Remit
Given this is a newly created role, the successful candidate will work with the European Business Director, Chief Technical Officer and wider leadership, in developing a deep understanding of the different market segments that the company currently operate in, whilst acting as the conduit between their exceptional R&D function and the customer.
You will undertake research to gain insights in to market size by country, perform customer needs analysis, assess market drivers and trends whilst conducting comprehensive competitor due diligence. The all encompassing remit also incorporates involvement in developing product pricing strategy and broader market segmentation work.
The successful candidate will also:
Run VOC/VOS campaigns
Prepare sales support material to assist the sales team with value selling
Provide communication guidelines for marketing teams to generate content for media campaigns
Share market intel by country with the Engineering department to maximise group earnings
Skills & Experience
You will have cultivated a proven track record within strategic marketing roles whilst having gained extensive experience of developing value propositions and conducting market segmentation work with similarly technical products.
Given the highly strategic remit, you will possess excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision making among the internal leadership community as well as external suppliers and partners.
In addition to your exceptional communication skills, you will ideally be fluent in English and an additional 2 European languages (preferably French, Spanish or Italian).
