American Express
Location: London
Job type: Permanent
Sector: Marketing Agency
Category: Product Marketing Jobs
Enterprise Digital Membership Experience (EDME) is one of the core groups comprising the larger Enterprise Digital and Analytics (EDA) organisation in American Express, focused on creating innovative and unparalleled digital experiences for Cardmembers. Its mission is to make Amex more essential to Cardmembers’ lives through the creation of differentiated experiences across Americanexpress.com, Amex Mobile App, Amex Offers, Email / SMS Marketing etc.

Within EDME, the Global Membership Web team is responsible for the main consumer journeys on Americanexpress.com end-to-end. It leads the development of online experiences that drive Cardmembers’ engagement and deepens their relationship with American Express.

This role is within the Guest Experience team which is focused on improving the public (non-logged in) part of Americanexpress.com. It’s mission is to establish and deliver a content strategy from a product standpoint to drive greater discovery of and engagement with Amex Membership Benefits, Products and Services. Responsibilities include the creation of content solutions within our Content Management System for marketing teams globally to utilise to support their campaigns – and deliver tailored and personalised experiences in the Guest Experience for both Cardmembers and Prospects.

The new Sr. Product Manager will work closely with the Director, Global Web Experience to define the strategy around the public pages of Amex.com based on business objectives and customer needs. The final deliverables need to consider market needs, content design, guidelines, operating model and governance. The Sr. Product Manager will need to sync strategy and build across the other Guest Experience Product Managers responsible for Information Architecture, Homepage, Content Delivery and Test & Learn, as well as the Adobe Experience Management platform, and Marketing Capabilities product teams in the wider EDA organisation.

The work on Content Strategy for Amex.com is happening at an exciting time within American Express; the roll-out of the new global brand identity, new enterprise content management system (Adobe Experience Manager) and new common design (Design Language System) mean that we are organisationally ready for this large-scale change initiative to happen.

Key responsibilities:

*

Work closely with the Director, Guest Web Experience to establish the global content strategy for product, features roadmap and deliverables

*

Own and manage the successful delivery of these features and identify opportunities for ongoing optimisation

*

Partner with Design teams to redefine page format design to ensure core elements such as accessibility, search, performance as well as content quality elements (e.g. tone of voice, brand attribution, related content and cross-sells) are inherently built into each format produced

*

Partner with the Web Product Marketing team to define reusable, consistent content packages for business/marketing partners globally

*

Define KPI models in partnership with Brand, Consumer Product and Analytics teams based on key customer journey flows

*

Forge strong relationships with Analytics, UX Design, UX Research and CXO resource to ensure a data and insight-driven approach is taken to inform the evolution of the programme

*

Collaborate and strategize with all Guest Experience Product Managers (IA, Navigation, Homepage, Content Delivery), Adobe Experience Management platform teams and Marketing Capabilities teams in wider EDA organisation, to ensure the content strategy is in sync and opportunities to join dots are realised

*

Manage a tenured Product Executive based in the UK

This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
