One of the largest professional services firms in the world is looking for an established, highly motivated and creative candidate to work as an experienced Senior Proposals Manager within the firm's London Assurance practice.
You will be in a senior position within the firm's Pursuit and Proposals team, which provides end-to-end proposals support including professional proposal management and advice, expert proposal coaching, writing and design services, evaluation and reporting. Your primary stakeholder group will be the firm's financial services business but you will also operate with agility across the largest and most strategic opportunities. The Senior Pursuits and Proposals Manager will act as a proposals and pursuit coach on the firm's major opportunities, working with the lead partners and practice teams to support the process from start to finish, including preparation pre-RFP, throughout the proposal process, at presentation stage, including one-on-one coaching, and post decision reviews. From a pure proposals perspective you will act as a coach on major opportunities, working with lead partners and practice teams to support the process from start to finish and must ensure all proposals have a win strategy clearly articulated in the documents and presentations. You will need to leverage your knowledge and understanding of Assurance propositions in proposal situations and bring in other parts of the sales and marketing team to improve the chances of winning. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Assurance Proposals on long term projects such as post decision reviews, go-no-go and cost of sale and will be expected to proactively seek new tools and innovate to deliver proposals in different ways and in different circumstances. The role holder will You will also be responsible for managing, motivating and developing junior members of the team, acting as a leader in the Pursuit & Proposals capability and a role model to others.
The Senior Pursuits & Proposals Manager will have extensive experience in proposals management and coaching including experience of rehearsing senior stakeholders for client presentations and in developing strategies that go beyond the document or presentation for proposals. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills and the experience and confidence to advise, challenge and influence thinking and have a real strategic impact on the firm's approach to winning work. While industry experience is not essential, previous experience of working in professional services or a partnership environment is highly desirable.
