Senior Research Analyst - 6 months fixed term

Salary: Up to £28,000 dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Customer Insight Analyst to join our small, friendly team and play a vital role in helping to shape our product and marketing plans. It’s a great opportunity for someone with project management/delivery experience, numerical abilities and/or a keen interest in consumer psychology, who can take different insights and help turn them into a ‘story’ everyone will understand.
You’ll immerse yourself in a world of customer insight that extends across our full range of marketing channels and covers our entire range of products, from savings and mortgages to financial advice and insurance.
On a typical day you’ll be setting up research projects, helping with questionnaire design and scripting, managing research admin tasks, analysing data, conducting research with customers, and/or inputting to research fieldwork and debriefs to influence key decisions.
Business areas will be relying on your curiosity, project management/delivery, and hopefully also your market research skills to produce engaging and commercially valuable insights about our customers.
We’re looking for someone who’s good with numbers and an aptitude towards understanding people. You’ll either hold a psychology, business, market research, or numerate degree or have gained relevant industry experience. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable using Excel, Power Point, Word, and other software tools, and have the ability to relate customer feedback to business issues. We’re particularly interested in candidates with project skills who have worked in a commercial research agency, commercial client-side research role, and/or in a marketing agency or environment. An understanding of, and experience in, using qual and quant research techniques and tools, or the desire to quickly acquire this expertise, would be an asset.
You’ll need to be organised, approachable, have meticulous attention to detail, and be highly motivated. A team player who’s also able to work under their own steam is a ‘must’ for the role. If you know about financial services, that would be a bonus too.
