Description

Acting as Senior Security Analyst you will be responsible for providing the entities and markets with first line of defence security services including a Security Operations Centre to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats.

*

Support the maintenance of strong relationship and collaboration with the UK entities’ Information Security teams (Corporate Centre, PPP, Insurance and Architas).

*

Act as a point of contact for the UK entities within Cyber Defence and Information Security in general.

*

Contribute security expertise to the Cyber Defence infrastructure security project portfolio.

*

Deliver results through collaboration with others, typically professional/technical roles.

*

Provide advice as a key subject matter expert.

*

Support the effective management of the UK Operations Security team’s BAU activities including but not limited to: vulnerability management, security incident investigation, change requests, service management requests.

*

Participate in CSIRT activities where required.

Qualifications

Below are some of the skills that may be beneficial (but not essential) in this role:

Extensive experience in security incident investigation and management.

*

Extensive experience of managing BAU information security tasks.

*

Good understanding of network security principles.

*

You need to be confident in scripting for automation of tasks (PowerShell in particular).

*

Good knowledge of ITIL Service Management concepts and processes, security incident management and service request management.

Certifications:

*

Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM)

*

ISO 27xxx certification (27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor)

*

ITIL v3 certified to at least Foundation level

Skills/abilities:

*
Passionate about Information Security

*
Cross cultural sensitivity, flexibility

*
Organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively

*
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*
Works effectively as a team player
