Position: SEO Manager
Location: Huddersfield (Commutable from Halifax, Dewsbury, Wakefield and surrounding areas)

Salary: up to £45,000, dependent on experience

About the role:
The company just seems to be continuing to grow… So to support that growth they're now looking for an SEO Manager to join the family. As a SEO Manager your focus will be improving the SEO position by analysing and fixing onsite technical issues, improving the user experience, creating relevant web pages and content on site and creating relevant and valuable links for the customers. You’ll work with a number of departments throughout the company including Buyers to understand new products, Traders to improve the customer journey, and Creative to improve content and imagery, whilst educating teams to achieve SEO goals.
As SEO Manager you'll have responsibility for creating and implementing the SEO strategy across all of their websites. Excellent communication is the key as you’ll manage the day to day relationship with the PR agency, as well as investigating and implementing third party SEO tools.
Additionally, you’ll manage the development of content on their sites and blogs, keeping up to date with the latest trends, and sharing this information with relevant departments. Carrying out regular SEO audits of the websites, actioning the relevant changes to ensure they continuously improve the customer journey, alongside undertaking competitor analysis.
Naturally, they want you to have experience working within an SEO role previously, alongside a strong commercial acumen and the ability to really understand the dynamics of an online retail business. You will need to be a fantastic communicator, liaising with different people and departments at all levels of the business.
Your ability to understand the company's customer needs is key to this role, alongside the ability to present and communicate your ideas effectively.
