We drive and own the commercial performance of the SMB P&L. We manage the commercial performance through ownership of the acquisition, retention and growth strategy of the P&L.

The strategy includes pricing and propositions management across all SMB Mobile, Non-Mobile and Device related products and services. We shape, manage and influence the sales trading performance of these products and services across all channels to market.

The team is made up of four key areas – Strategy & Transformation, Pricing & Proposition, Acquisition & Device Pricing, and Management of Retention and In-Life. The four areas hold the responsibility for driving a significant proportion of revenue, profit and mobile market share in to the O2 UK operating business (OB).

How will you fit into this?

* The SMB Commercial Marketing Manager is a key member of the SMB Acquisition team, within SMB Customer Marketing

* You will play a pivotal role in producing and communicating Customer, Market and Sales insight to the P&Ls senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance and Sales

* The insight you generate will be crucial to you delivering the right acquisition strategies, plans, propositions, mechanics and trading decisions to drive the P&Ls sales performance, removal of barriers to trading and delivery on the commercial commitments of the SMB P&L

* You will utilise insights and analyse the market to identify areas to improve O2 performance or maintain a strong position in market

* Understanding data and commercials, to build business cases to inform and deliver promotional performance changes

* Supporting in the take to market process of our initiatives, including briefing IT, props & pricing team and sales communications to execute brilliantly

* Supporting in the take to market process of our initiatives, including briefing IT, props & pricing team and sales communications to execute brilliantly

* Working with external suppliers, partners and vendors to deliver joint up initiatives to our SMB customers

Some key responsibilities include:

* Drive the delivery of SMB financial and physical targets Total Revenue, MSR, CC and Mobile Nets

* Support the management and coordination of SMBs Customer Marketing’ Trading arm – including the P&Ls Mobile Outlook, Acquisitions outside of BAU parameters and development of Sales/Customer incentives and promos to drive Gross

* Enhance the SMB Propositions, Product, Service & Pricing portfolio to better meet the needs of New Customers

* Creating business cases to evaluate the commercial viability of running and responsible for obtaining the necessary approvals through the various governance forums

* Improve device relevance – ie. manage and improve the Revenue/CC potential of SMBs device portfolio

* Support in the management the of teams Discretionary Opex Budget

What are we looking for?

* Strong commercial / category management expeirence is essential

* Must have a strong commercial and finanical acumen, e.g. managed a balance of value KPIs

* Strong stalkeholder management and relationship management skills

* Experience managing a P&L

* SMB background would be beneficial but not essential

* Must have a good understanding of marketing
