Social Media Manager, London

Salary to £45,000 plus benefits

Much loved coffee house seeks Social Media Manager to develop and build on the brand’s social presence and drive seasonal campaigns across digital channels

Key responsibilities:

·         Own and implement a solid digital strategy that integrates with the marketing department, optimises channels and ensures all digital activity supports and strengthens the brand

·         Raise awareness and positively influence global public opinion of the brand’s character and personality, and drive the premium appeal of the brand

·         Plan and manage the social media budget and ad spend focused on key KPIs

·         Work alongside the Content Manager and Digital Brand Manager to ensure content is in line with campaign objectives and that assets produced are within brand guidelines and appropriate for international use

·         Ensure digital strategy supports the global brand goals; lead and train other markets on their digital development

·         Manage and develop our blog. Manage the publishing schedule and asset development. Work with Marketing to set up bloggers and influencers plan to seed messaging, drive SEO and gain social media coverage and advocacy

·         ‘Own’ the Content Library

Person Specification

·         Technically fluent in social media

·         Excellent and proven creative copy writing - ability to crank editorial and technical writing

·         Track record in personally generating quality content for social media

·         Track record of building strong internal relationships with teams

·         Analytical and able to use various software tools, such as Meltwater, Sprout Media etc

·         Proven knowledge of brands;  understands premium branding

·         An eye for design for online materials to ensure brand standards are met

·         Project management skills

·         Problem analysis and problem-solving skills

·         Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media

·         Proven experience in Social media management and delivery, including paid strategy and management, channel optimisation, content creation and copy writing, communications planning and execution.
