Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Much loved coffee house seeks Senior Digital Manager to build the brand’s social presence across all channels. You will manage a team of 4, implementing projects and executing campaigns designed to strengthen the brand and increase its reach (organic and paid) and engagement across digital – principally social media and website.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Oversee the development and delivery of an innovative digital strategy
  • Practical digital strategy presentations and training to the group
  • Overarching responsibility for management, output and efficiency of external tech and agencies
  • Advise on and advocate for digital solutions and approaches across the group
  • Oversee management of risks, obstacles and technical hurdles

Digital Delivery

  • Ensure a one digital approach where everyone works cross-functionally to achieve integrated goals across content creation and management, web estate, core social channels and CRM
  • Hands-on ownership of paid strategy and execution
  • Development and execution of seasonal campaign activity
  • Champion an agency mentality, effectively interpreting, delivering and reporting on requirements from across the company
  • As well as brand awareness, ensure creation and delivery of our tactical and attraction (staff recruitment) strategy to achieve agreed content/digital goals
  • Ensure best practice from the UK is shared and used at a Group level
  • Ensure digital team are working within the boundaries of GDPR
  • Develop and lead a renewed e-commerce strategy, including web design and build, fulfilment, subscriptions and 3rd party partners

Leadership and Management

  • Support and develop the digital team, helping all members reach their potential
  • Design and lead the tracking of digital KPIs
  • Ensure the Company is up to date with emerging technologies and trends

Person Specification

As an experienced digital manager with clear achievements in a digital environment, you have directly worked on, and grown, highly engaged channels. You’re open, collaborative and have led successful cross-organisation projects. You are experienced in channel optimisation, paid advertising and you have a strong attention to detail, excellent editorial skills and an in-depth understanding of analytics and reporting.

  • Proven experience growing social media platforms, including Facebook/Instagram and YouTube
  • Thorough understanding of websites and their functionality; CMS platforms, SEO, HTML
  • Excellent knowledge/experience of paid advertising strategy and implementation, campaign construction, daily optimisation, test plan construction and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail, copywriting and analytical skills
  • Experienced in creating and presenting campaign reports including ROI, conversion rates, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to work autonomously with use of initiative and as part of a team
  • Ideally experience within international markets
