Better Placed are delighted to be working with a well known, Yorkshire based retailer with a great reputation. They are currently looking for a Social Media Manager to join their growing team based in Leeds with in a close commute of Wakefield and Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for a developing marketing professional to gain some fantastic experience in a market leading brand.
The main purpose of this role will be to oversee and evolve the delivery of all social media content on all platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc. The role also requires ongoing research into new forms of content, production and delivery. Your main duties will be to plan, brief and create content across all relevant social and content platforms. This is a really fast paced role so therefore will require someone who can think on their feet, quickly and efficiently.
As the Social Media Manager you not only will bring an answer to the table, you will bring insights, excitement and a collaborative spirit. Social Media management and strategy is what you're best at. Its what you love!
The ideal candidate:
- Will have a strong understanding of all social media platforms
- Experience in reporting, digital and social tools and insight
- Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
- Educated to a degree level
- Experience with in a retail environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- At least 4 years Social Media experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Can do attitude
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in both written and video format
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side
