Our client is a multi-billion pound turnover food business that has recently acquired a lifestyle brand that is set to make waves in the fast growing health and well being category! The brand already has a loyal fan base and having recently undergone a brand re-positioning project, it is poised to broaden its consumer appeal with some tasty innovation and best in class marketing campaigns!

As part of the ongoing growth plans a new Social Media role has been created for an experienced, creative and commercial Social Media specialist to bring the planning and activation of Social Media campaigns in-house and shake up the social strategy.

The primary focus of the Social Media Specialist is to develop market leading social media content and assets to inform and engage consumers across key social platforms and convert brand and product sales. This role plays a key role in all aspects of social content creation: from the development of the content strategy and campaign planning to delivering compelling content, managing in-house shoots and evaluating content effectiveness. This role also involves working with external creative agencies to produce disruptive social campaigns that really bring the brands personality to life and create some hype around brand and product launch campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate foodie and ideally will have some personal interest in the health and well being category that you will be immersed in! You will need to blend your strategic and commercial experience with creativity and not be afraid to try new things. A test and learn mentality will be crucial to success as you measure the effectiveness of your campaigns and feed that into future plans. Experience of developing and implementing an in-house social media strategy is essential and you will be an expert in all social platforms with the ability to identify and capitalise on new technology and opportunities. Experience of paid social is desirable but not essential.
