Sr Marketing Manager, Advertising EU, London

A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. We are looking for a highly creative, results-oriented Sr Marketing Manager to be a large cross-functional owner, defining marketing strategy and initiatives to accelerate EU adoption and growth for our brand building suite of products (Sponsored Brands & Sponsored Display). In this role, you will be partnering with multiple WW product and marketing teams and are accountable for driving the overall EU strategy and goals for these products. You will define the EU marketing program, set objectives, analyse data and customer insights, drive improvements that are quantified with metrics, and influence and drive large initiatives. The position is based in London but will interact with our global teams in Asia, Europe, and North America.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong passion for data and customer insights and leveraging this to develop marketing programs and strategies that are innovative and achieve business goals. You operate from a customer-first perspective to understand pain points & gaps and identify opportunities. You proactively identify and mitigate risks, and you demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious growth plans. If you are organized, analytical, with an interest to own and drive your program strategy end to end, this is a great role.

Key Responsibilities
· Own critical metrics and contribute to senior level goals that drive EU adoption and growth of advertisers on Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display products
· Dive deep to understand advertiser’s feedback in order to uncover unique insights and opportunities
· Partner with multiple product, program and marketing efforts to create project plan and initiatives that cater to needs of EU advertisers
· Explore marketing opportunities related to education (including specific events and trainings) by partnering with our Education team and Advertiser on-boarding team
· Analyse the impact and results of initiatives impacting the program, and share results with senior leaders and stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· Professional non-internship marketing experience
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to c-suite stakeholders
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
· Bachelors degree
· 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Management
· 5+ years managing global stakeholders in cross-functional projects
· Basic SQL knowledge
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate. Proven ability to communicate persuasively and to influence others, particularly amongst senior stakeholder
· Analytical skills in EXCEL to review and analyse data. Proficient in MS Office: Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where not all processes and procedures are clearly defined. Agility to change directions quickly as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous advertising or retail experience with respect to programs and processes
· Advanced SQL knowledge
· Proven ability to dive deep and identify root cause gaps and drive solutions that improve customer experience and drive business results.
· Passion for e-commerce and digital marketing and a track record of delivering outstanding results. An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for having fun while delivering world-class products and programs.
· Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and develop and drive appropriate solutions
