DESCRIPTION

Amazon Business aims to become the most customer-centric provider of products and procurement services for business, government and industry in the world. We’re off to a big start. After launching in 2015, Amazon Business quickly reached $1 billion in annualized revenue in the US alone, and quickly expanded to Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Japan. Building on top of Amazon’s long history of customer focus and innovation, we need to re-invent core parts of the shopping experience to serve the needs of businesses and other institutional buyers – from the kinds of products we offer, to our payment methods, to close integration with corporate purchasing systems.

We are looking for a marketer to help define marketing strategies and deploy marketing initiatives for the Amazon Business invoicing and lending products. The senior marketing product manager will define the marketing strategies, drive product awareness and acquisition, manage on-going customer engagement, and coordinate across product managers, general managers, sales, and stakeholders in various teams globally from end-to-end.

In this role, you will lead a team that will define B2B marketing strategies from scratch, test and learn. You will be able to learn and operate using Amazon Payment Products’ cutting-edge machine-learning marketing engine. This is a high-impact role and the marketer will have opportunities to regularly present the strategies, program updates, results, and learning to the leadership teams. The high growth expected for the business and the variety of Amazon eco-system that this role will operate in and navigate through will in turn provide career growth opportunities for the marketer as well.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. He or she must be a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon Business Payments offerings as well as the behaviour of Amazon Business's internal systems. In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
· Develop marketing strategies and define on-going marketing roadmap for customer acquisition and engagement programs.
· Effectively test and build best-in-class marketing programs from end to end with effective content, tailored to appropriate customers.
· Collaborate with external and internal partners cross businesses and functions to deliver results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
· Extensive marketing experience
· Experience as a People Manager, leading teams to deliver results
· Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Ability to use hard data and metrics to measure the performance of online efforts, determine improvements and innovations, and to support project requests from partner teams
· Proven success in dealing with ambiguous situations or launching new businesses
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with B2B marketplaces or networks
· Payments or financial services industry experience
· International business experience

This role can be based in our London or Munich office. Are you interested? We look forward to receiving your application. Please submit your online application including your CV and covering letter in English.
