The role: The Technical Content Writer will be joining a marketing team of eight people. The business needs a content writer who can define the content marketing calendar and implement that in a creative and innovative way. The Technical Content Writer will be the sole contributor to writing multi-format content in the business, whether that be writing strong opinion blog articles, website articles, whitepapers, infographics, social media posts, videos, podcasts, or press releases. The content created will be utilised to increase the amount of new business leads for the sales team. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing skills, have experience of working in a B2B technology business or content marketing agency, and have a passion for technology.

Responsibilities for the position Technical Content Writer:

  • Working within a good size marketing team
  • Creating and owning the content marketing calendar
  • Writing multiple formats of content e.g. opinion blog articles, website articles, whitepapers, infographics, social media posts, videos, podcasts, or press releases
  • Ensure that all messaging is accurate and up to date
  • Create and curate new and exciting pieces of content

To be considered for the role of Technical Content Writer you must have:

  • B2B content marketing experience
  • Exceptional written and spoken English
  • Ideally a Journalism/English degree
  • Deep knowledge of the technology sector
  • A can-do attitude with demonstrable drive
  • Self-motivation - this role is completely self-managed
  • Written a variety of B2B content across multiple formats
