Job Introduction

Here at Skipton Building Society we have seen successful growth over the last few years, meaning our processes and systems are regularly reviewed in order to optimise performance and deliver the efficient service our customers expect from us. As our new Technology & Innovation Analyst, you will work closely with our distribution and operational areas, such as our contact centre, to help identify where improvements can be made to increase performance.

To do this, you will provide clear analysis and use this to actively challenge and recommend improvements to processes, procedures and systems to ensure the relevant department is working as
efficiently as possible. This could range from reviewing call patterns through to unexpected incident management; no two days will be the same in this varied role. You will find the balance between identifying quick win solutions and also recommending larger change projects to a range of stakeholders. The key competencies for this role are below:

• Analytical skills
• Research and development skills
• Process improvements
• Implementing system changes
• Communication skills/questioning techniques
• Comfortable using data systems

Who we're looking for

As well as producing data from a range of systems, we are looking for someone who enjoys drawing conclusions from various data sources and is able to use this information to recommend ideas for improvement. This includes working with a range of stakeholders and using data evidence as well as influencing skills to encourage change across our distribution channels.

You will also support the implementation of these changes where necessary, and provide further analysis
to identify the results of the changes and monitor this on a regular basis to ensure continuous improvement.

We do provide full training on the systems we use, however prior knowledge of a customer/call centre environment including key performance metrics would help you excel in this role.
