We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly created Third-Party Risk Management Team as a Third-Party Risk Governance & Controls Analyst. The role can be based in Triton Square, Milton Keynes or Carlton Park.

As a Third-Party Risk Governance & Controls Analyst you will be working closely with the Third-Party Risk Governance & Control Manager to execute control and assurance activities. As a Third-Party Risk Governance & Controls Analyst you will have a chance to develop controls and assurance activities to respond to changes in the Third-Party Risk Management TOM as it is defined and evolves. This provides the opportunity to drive real change in how we manage our risks within the Bank.

As a Third-Party Risk Systems Assistant your main responsibilities will be

* Maintaining the Third-Party Risk Management Policy and supporting Standards to ensure that these remain appropriate and address emerging risks

* Maintaining a central Risk & Control Matrix for the Third-Party Risk Management Framework and related Risk & Control Self-Assessment

* Investigating and action adverse media events identified by the Third-Party Risk Management System on a complete, accurate, and timely basis in line with procedures

* Executing internal control checks to provide assurance over the operating effectiveness of key processes performed by the Third-Party Risk Management Team. Control checks are performed accurately and on a timely basis in line with procedures

* Executing control checks to monitor business area compliance with Third-Party Risk Management Policy and supporting Standards, supporting the Third-Party Risk Governance & Control Manager in reporting the results to stakeholders. Control checks are performed accurately and on a timely basis in line with procedures

* Producing reports to monitor business area compliance with the Bank’s training and competency framework for third-party risk management and identifying and reporting risks related to the Third-Party Risk Management Framework

Minimum skills and experience required

* Good understanding of Third-Party Risk Management Policies and Standards and Operational Risk is essential. Broader understanding of Operational Risk Framework is desirable

* Awareness of risk and control concepts. Experience in a risk and control related role desirable

* Ability to think laterally and understand the impacts of proposed changes, challenging the status quo where appropriate

* Self-starter that demonstrates excellent attention to detail

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Our Triton Square office in London is conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.
