The role of UK/EMEA Marketing Manager -

The organisation is looking for its first marketing hire outside of the US to help build local level marketing campaign activity to support key regional objectives:

  • Creating market awareness
  • Build sales assets and enable the team
  • Building demand generation marketing
  • Increasing MQL's and sales pipeline

The role will work closely with global shared services marketing teams, local sales teams and wider product teams to understand the business and region objectives and then manage all communications, campaign planning, content strategy, event strategy and sales enablement to achieve this.

The Marketing Manager role will be expected to have experience across all facets of marketing, be expected to work alone and in cross-functional, cross-regional teams. It will be the role holder's responsibility to lead the collaboration of sales and marketing to support the revenue growth of the region. The plans will include content marketing, brand awareness and PR, demand generation, account-based marketing initiatives, digital marketing and customer journey building.

Whilst building out local marketing campaigns to more effectively support the UK/EMEA revenue push, the Marketing Manager will have to combine group-lead policies and strategies from the US. Prior experience of working with and localising US marketing output is a necessity for this role.

Essential skills to be a success in the role of UK/EMEA Marketing Manager -

  • Degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 5-8 years marketing experience for a B2B software or technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong and measurable results
  • Experience working with a global marketing shared services organisation located in a different country (experience working with the US a plus)
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to support local market needs
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic planning and the building of annual marketing plans
  • Experience running integrated campaigns incorporating multiple channels, including PR, social media, digital, SEM, email, content marketing, conferences and more
  • Experience building and executing account-based marketing programs
  • Experience building and managing marketing communications plans (public relations, blog, social media)
  • Experience building and executing an annual conference / trade show plan
  • Experience developing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience with CRM and project management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite

The package for the role of UK/EMEA Marketing Manager includes:

  • Salary - £45,000-£55,000
  • Bonus structure
