This Consumer Services organisation have received a number of awards for delivering the best possible service to their clients and have offices spanning across the UK.
Due to expansion of the digital team they currently have an opportunity for a UX Designer to join their team in Huddersfield.
Working in the Digital Marketing team and reporting to the Head of Digital, you'll take full ownership for all web design projects. With the knowledge of what makes a website work you will understand the importance of design for SEO and what needs to be implemented into a website to make it work well.
You'll be responsible for maintaining and updating the companies web and online product presence across all spaces.
This could involve adding content via the CMS, or updating front-end elements. You'll develop email templates, keeping up to date with OCI compliance requirements and create bespoke landing pages as required.
Other responsibilities will include developing leading design concepts and wireframes, improving customer journey and ensuring navigation and search is optimized.
In addition you'll support the wider digital marketing strategy by support on A/B testing and artwork for digital and social media channels.
What We're Looking For:
You'll be a Creative Web Designer who is passionate about digital design and you'll have a good understanding of digital marketing and SEO. You'll have a strong understanding and experience of responsive design and mobile-first.
With knowledge of what makes a website work, you'll understand the importance of design for SEO, Paid Search and other digital marketing channels. You'll investigate and troubleshoot design related web issues and improve the site by implementing any new features and functionality.
We want you to come in and make a difference, developing the design content for the website, landing pages, micro-sites and Emails.
Photoshop, FTP/SFTP and DNS are all essential and HTML, CSS, CMS (ideally Sitecore) are essential.
With a good understanding of digital marketing you'll have experience working either in an agency or in house studio and we'll expect to see an impressive online design portfolio.
