Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading business in Sheffield to recruit a Web Content Officer to join their existing team.
Joining a small team, you will be responsible for creating, uploading and analysing content for the company's large website / micro-sites.
You will develop content to support multiple divisions for the business, writing content from scratch as well as utilising existing (sometimes technical) content and developing this into customer friendly content that can be published on the website, blogs and newsletters.
You will work closely with the SEO specialist to ensure all content is in line with current keywords / phrases and SEO guidelines.
You will support the team's manager with an ongoing website refresh project which will include re-writing / refreshing all content across the companies UK wide website.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate the following skill set:
-Academically strong, ideally with a degree in English / Journalism (or equivalent experience) -Some experience of content writing within a commercial environment is essential -Open on industry sector experience within either b2b or b2c -Able to understand and interpret complex information into user friendly content often switching between divisions and adapting styles appropriately -Passionate about a career within content / copy-writing -Knowledge / interest in SEO techniques -Understanding of content management systems
